Location: Taunton, UK (Occasional travel within UK and to USA & Europe)

Site Financial Controller – The Role:

The Controller provides expertise in all financial matters arising on the site and reporting to Amphenol stakeholders and external parties. The role creates financial goals of the site and is key to the attainment of them. The role of the controller is also fundamental in the design, maintenance, and policing of controls to reduce risk to the business.

Site Financial Controller – Key Responsibilities:

- Manage General Ledger System and its integration with Sub Ledgers and Sub Systems.

- Oversee cashflow site to align with business objectives, including customer receipts and supplier payments.

- Coordinate Cash Pool and external Bank Account activities.

- Prepare and upload monthly Trial Balance for site performance assessment.

- Compile monthly/quarterly/annual reports and conduct analysis.

- Ensure timely completion of Balance Sheet Reconciliations and backups.

- Enhance Infoflo costing systems and control inventory.

- Implement financial controls to mitigate business risks.

- Supervise Finance department staff and their duties.

- Handle annual Statutory Accounts and internal tax reporting.

- Present site Budgets and strategic plans in line with company goals.

- Manage assets requisitions and approvals.

- Coordinate with HMRC for tax reporting and Office for National Statistics as required.

- Promote financial awareness across departments.

- Collaborate with other controllers to drive improvements.

- Review and approve Customer Opportunities.

- Develop and manage Finance Department budget and forecasts.

Site Financial Controller – You:

- An Accounting & Finance Degree or equivalent qualification

- 3 to 5 years' experience in financial accounting up to Trial Balance

- Preferably prior experience in Finance within Amphenol

- Ability to align with Amphenol values

- Proficient in managing and motivating staff

- Familiarity with integrated commercial systems like Oracle or Infoflo

- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Capacity to prioritise and handle multiple tasks effectively

- Exceptional organisational and time management abilities

- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and commitment to ethical conduct
