When you join our team as an Electrical Controls Engineer you will provide technical support to the manufacturing, quality and research areas, develop process/equipment, implement production into the Engineering Pilot area and provide a smooth implementation of new productions/processes to the manufacturing facility. 

Essential Functions: 

  • Regular attendance
  • Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without accommodations
  • Design/develop/program/revise new & existing equipment, processes and production methods
  • Resolve complex problems related to production, processing and materials
  • Efficiently start up new applications, equipment & processes
  • Draft procedures and process sheets as necessary
  • Provide active input for continuous process improvement
  • Assist with capital requirements and implementation of programs
  • Interface with current/potential vendors pertaining to raw materials/supplies
  • Effectively communicate necessary information to co-workers and management
  • Work effectively with other functional areas to guarantee quality products
  • Assist in specs and building of test/processing fixtures
  • Utilize CAD and other software

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering
  • Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Under pressure with a high degree of accuracy
  • Working knowledge of CAD, Solidworks, Microsoft Office, SPC 
  • Problem Solving Skills
  • Technical Writing
